Our company uses acetone to clean the dielectric fluid off the parts we machine and also off the electrodes, as we run high production runs and redress the electrodes often. We use IONOPLUS 3000 in our sinkers. The acetone works great but the company wants to switch to something else. I was wondering if anyone uses anything different and how well it works. Thanks.
We use Simple Green 100%, do not mix with water. Works well and is not bad for your skin.
We use Zep Heavy Duty Citrus Degreaser. I have always found it to remove edm oil much better than acetone, and it smells better and is easy on your skin.
