Is anyone else out there using Mastercam 2018 to program their EDM?

I did not know that was even a possibility. What brand CNC EDM are you using to be able to program your machine thru Mastercam 2018?

Hello I am using Esprit 2020
We have an Agie cut2000S with the double head option. I mainly run .002” (.050mm) diameter wire and .004” for roughing the pockets.
We have 2 Mitsubishi MVR1200 and four FA10 and FA20’s using Erowa robots for pallet loading and unloading. We also have three Charmilles Robofil2020S. I have used Mastercam for programming the Fadals but find that the Esprit is excellent for WEDM. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, Jeff

I have only used Mastercam for programming the wire. Pretty simple to use. Every year they launch the latest and greatest but nothing ever changes on the wire side.

Using older MasterCam Xv9. Tweaked the post to output proper code for Fanuc Robocut Alpha 1iC.
Have 2018 and 2020. Compared to Xv9, both are cumbersome for wire use and offer no advantages. SmartCam was way better back in the day.

my wire guy uses 2019 as well
